First published in 1982 by the North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging, Keynotes is distributed five times a year to more than 45,000 seniors, caregivers, legislative leaders, and aging industry professionals in north central Kansas and beyond. Each issue features a unique mix of interviews, hard news, columns, photos, and puzzles targeted to older Kansans and caregivers. Regular columns include FYI, Caregiver Corner, Does Medicare Pay for That?, Legal Matters, Savvy Senior Technology, and Scam Scan.
Keynotes is funded by readers’ voluntary contributions, advertising support and a grant from Title III-B of the Older Americans Act. While Keynotes does not charge for subscriptions, we do ask for donations to help “Keep Keynotes Coming!” Contributions are tax-deductible and our mailing list is kept confidential.

Caregiver Assistance News
Published monthly and distributed to more than 1,800 households, our Caregiver Assistance News newsletter features helpful articles on topics of particular interest to seniors and their caregivers. Readers can expect articles on managing caregiver stress, health and wellness, managing the effects of dementia, food and nutrition, and much more. Caregiver Assistance News is supported by voluntary reader contributions and a federal grant, which allows us to distribute this newsletter without charging subscription fees.
