AmeriCorps Seniors

AmeriCorps Seniors is a network of volunteer programs for Americans 55 years and older. Volunteers work in our community doing academic tutoring and mentoring and other meaningful volunteer services

Foster Grandparent

Ignite lifelong inspiration and community impact with the Foster Grandparent program, where older adults become cherished mentors, empowering children to thrive and shine in their schools and communities. Programs in our region are targeted to schools in Dickinson, Geary, Riley or Saline Counties. In some cases, foster-grandparents whose income meets certain guidelines may receive tax-free stipends, meals and mileage reimbursements while serving. Contact NCFHAAA for more information.

Seniors RSVP Program

Discover the power of giving back with the RSVP program, where older adults transform their passion into action, tackling community challenges, inspiring others, and making a remarkable impact—all while building meaningful connections and purpose.
