NCFHAAA Pet Parade Under Construction But Open For Business

NCFHAAA Pet Parade Under Construction But Open For Business

Pets are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance as

approved medications, but maybe they should be.

Research shows that pets decrease their owners’ stress, lower blood

pressure, increase their physical activity, not to mention the social and

emotional well-being from someone who loves you unconditionally.

The North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging (NCFHAAA) is

celebrating its 50-year anniversary with this new feature page called Pet

Parade. This is your opportunity to share the story of you and your

faithful companion with others.

Dr. Trisha Kvasnica, “Dr. K.” Wildcat Vet Services owner, will present a

workshop at this year’s Sunflower Fair Sept. 16 at Salina’s Tony’s Pizza

Event Center. One of her specialties is exploring the health bonds

between pets and their people.

To share your pet’s picture and story on this page, save your picture as a

JPEG, and post the story and picture on this page.
