More Answers for Older Kansans Seminars in October

The North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging has more Answers for Older Kansans (AOK) seminars scheduled for the month of October. The AOK program provides presentations from experts on a variety of subjects that provide information and assistance to older Kansans and their caregivers. Upcoming seminars include:

  • Medicare Basics Part 1 on Wednesday, October 5th at 5:30 pm

  • Medicare Basics Part 2 on Thursday, October 6th at 5:30 pm

  • Communication With Healthcare Professionals: A Caregiver Talk Show on Wednesday, October 12th at noon

  • Elder Abuse: Let’s Talk About It on Thursday, October 12th at 5:30 pm

The Caregiver Talk Show will have two locations available to attend in-person: The Manhattan Public Library at 629 Poyntz Ave, and the Emporia Public Library at 110 E 6th Ave. You can also attend the Caregiver Talk Show by Zoom. All other AOK seminars are currently done on Zoom only.
